Well spring has slowly sprung in most areas of the northern hemisphere. For our friends on the other side of the world, happy start of winter or the wet season!

I have to admit I have been dragging my heels in getting this newsletter out this time. And it just isn't that I am busy puttering in the garden after a cold winter, it is more that everything is percolating through my system on the future of Divine Bridges. I find that I am discovering new ways of working with the energy every time I sit down to do a healing session. I am also having difficulty articulating some of the changes as they feel half formed. I have to say I am continually amazed at the power and versatility of Divine Bridges, in particular the Divine Perfection and Quantum Bridging energy I discussed in the Winter Ezine. To refresh your memory, Divine Perfection channels a perfect blueprint of what that system/situation should be like. Instead of focusing on the illness or problem, it projects the healthiest potential. It does require more focus and energy, as the inherent conditioning has to be overcome and the desired result has to not only be firmly held, but firmly felt and believed. It reminds me of an old Monty Python sketch where El Mystico built apartment blocks on faith, and the tenants had to believe they existed otherwise they would fall over.

Interestingly enough, one of the last times Divine Bridges was run in a group setting, the instruction was for the participants to focus on their desired result and not on their current situation. I am realizing that this is the future of the groups events and it will probably even go a step further by having the participants to write down their desired goal and using it as a focus for the energy. I have to say I am excited about these new developments. I am also realizing there are still a few more developments to come before we head back into group settings, but probably before the end of summer we will see it starting to happen.

For now the Divine Bridges is being used in hands on healing and distance situations. I find I am being less controlling on what tool is used and being more open to the flow of energy as the situation requires. I am amazed at the development of new tools within that energy flow. For example, in this past two days I have developed two new energy tools during a session. One used the toning/chanting at higher frequencies to clean the energy field of my client, and the other tool channeled the energy frequency of OM to balance a client's emotional state.

In other aspects of my work I am still developing the Mosaic audio course on spirituality that I talked about in the winter Ezine. Most of the guided meditations are complete, and I am just waiting on space to set up a recording studio to record the course material. I will keep you posted.

I also started writing for an online magazine this past spring. My subject matter is varied (what a shock), although I tend to concentrate on natural medicine and spirituality. I would highly recommend reading my article on the use of sun screens as we head into the summer season.

You may notice different pictures in this ezine. Usually I try to find some spiritually appropriate artwork to grace the page, but this month I decided to concentrate on mother nature herself (plus a I just got a new camera to play with)

So that is what has been keeping my brain occupied as of late. The next step I keep hearing is that what has been internally processed for so long will now be brought forth; should make for an exciting summer!

So Young Man, What Are Your Intentions With My Daughter?

Intention they say is everything. Although I am still trying to figure out who "they" actually are, I do have to agree about the importance of intention.

I find people in spiritual circles struggle with the concept of unfoldment and directed action. On one hand people talk about Divine plan, and if it is meant to happen it will. There is some truth to this, and not everything is always known to us or under our control. As different people are sometimes involved, there is a also a timing aspect to unfoldment. We also have to be in the right headspace/level of development to appreciate our gifts. So yes, natural allowing of Divine unfoldment is necessary.

Having said that, we are creatures of free will; we might not be able to control the events of our life but we can control how we respond to them. This free will means everything, as it determines how we evolve in the situation. Sometimes this inner development is more important than the outer structure we so often focus on. In other words not losing the lesson when you lose the game.

So where does intention come into play? Without intention you are just a rudderless boat. Without knowing where you want to go, then how will you know when you get there? Now you might say "but hey Robert, I am spiritual being and simply being present is all I want to be and may the cosmic chips fall where they may". Well that is just fine, but even being present requires an intention to do so. Or you decide to try a different tack and say "But I am of Divine origin and will be whatever God/Divine/That Strange Squirrel in the Park That Talks to Me wants me to be." Again this is okay, but consider a lump of clay. As a potter you work with clay to bring forth a beautiful form. Now the potter might say I will let the clay be what it wants to be and see what develops. After all, who am I to say what that clay should become. Without the potter's intention though, the clay is actually very happy to be a lump of clay. It is only with that intention of say creating a beautiful bowl that the clay takes on a desired form.

Our own life is very much like that clay. Intention is needed so that it can be directed to its highest form. Yes we have to be flexible enough to allow for Divine unfoldment, and silent enough to hear the guidance to make course corrections, but life will be directed by your intention and beliefs. Now it should be noted that intentions and beliefs can be at cross purposes. If it is your intention to live in a nice home with abundant gardens but you have a belief in scarcity, then you will be in conflict. These beliefs or conditioning are obstacles to your intention. This is one reason to use energy work, counseling, affirmations, manifestation techniques to clear the limiting beliefs so they do not stand in the way of the intention, or block unfoldment.

So yes, it is a tricky balancing act between unfoldment and directive action, but both of them are based upon intention. Intention is the destination you want to be, action is the fuel to get there, and unfoldment is the magic that happens along the way.

This month's poem is

My Dear Friend by Rumi

My dear friend
never lose hope
when the Beloved
sends you away.

If you're abandoned
if you're left hopeless
tomorrow for sure
you'll be called again.

If the door is shut
right in your face
keep waiting with patience
don't leave right away.

Seeing your patience
your love will soon
summon you with grace
raise you like a champion.

And if all the roads
end up in dead ends
you'll be shown the secret paths
no one will comprehend.

The beloved I know
will give with no qualms
to a puny ant
the kingdom of Solomon.

My heart has journeyed
many times around the world
but has never found
and will never find
such a Beloved again.

ah I better keep silence
I know this endless love
will surely arrive
for you and you and you........

Divine Messages

and so I fasted for 3 years, 3 months, and 3 days to receive clarity for this newsletter and to pass on a message to you:

Eat more organic fruits and veggies. Drink more water and be kind to one another and yourself.

Okay I fudged this month's Divine message but it still sounds like good advice. I think my tin foil helmet has been blocking my channeled messages. Maybe for next month I will chance it and go with out it...

This month's card is:

#35 Abundance from the Osho Zen Tarot

In the East people have condemned the body, condemned matter, called matter "illusory," maya - it does not really exist, it only appears to exist; it is made of the same stuff as dreams are made of. They denied the world, and that is the reason for the East remaining poor, sick, in starvation.

Half of humanity has been accepting the inner world but denying the outer world. The other half of humanity has been accepting the material world and denying the inner world. Both are half, and no man who is half can be contented. You have to be whole: rich in the body, rich in science; rich in meditation, rich in consciousness. Only a whole person is a holy person, according to me.

I want Zorba and Buddha to meet together. Zorba alone is hollow. His dance has not an eternal significance, it is momentary pleasure. Soon he will be tired of it. Unless you have inexhaustible sources, available to you from the cosmos itself...unless you become existential, you cannot become whole. This is my contribution to humanity: the whole person.

Osho Communism and Zen Fire, Zen Wind Chapter 2

Commentary:

This Dionysian character is the very picture of a whole man, a "Zorba the Buddha" who can drink wine, dance on the beach and sing in the rain, and at the same time enjoy the depths of understanding and wisdom that belong to the sage. In one hand he holds a lotus, showing that he respects and contains within himself the grace of the feminine. His exposed chest (an open heart) and relaxed belly show that he is at home with his masculinity as well, utterly self-contained. The four elements of earth, fire, water and sky all conjunct at the King of Rainbows who sits atop the book of the wisdom of life.

If you are a woman, the King of Rainbows brings the support of your own male energies into your life, a union with the soul mate within. For a man, this card represents a time of breaking through the conventional male stereotypes and allowing the fullness of the whole human being to shine forth.

We are all Linked!

So I thought I would take a little space each month to share some links I have come across. They might be teachings, new concepts, businesses I find intriguing, or just something that appeals to my brand of sacred coyote craziness. If you have a link you want me to include then drop me an email!

The Asian Classic Institute has Online Tibetan Buddhism classes. Enlightenment guaranteed! Okay they don't promise that, I just got carried away in the moment.

some of the links from our previous DivinEzine that have recent updates

My very good friend Ian has started a new business offering meditation/visualization CDs and Mp3s that are encoded with entrainment frequencies. I have listened to a couple of them already, and have to say they definitely deepen the quality of my meditation. Ian also has some great meditation instruction and advice on his web site. I highly recommend him as a meditation teacher. Ian has launched his Ebooks. Included in the titles are ones on mantras, meditation, and childhood obesity.

Did you know?

Human blood travels 60,000 miles a day on its travel through your body. No wonder I am tired!

Human lungs are 100 times easier to blow up than balloons, but they do make lousy party favours.
